Completely Keto Tuna Sliders
In the sun-kissed coastal city of San Diego, where the Pacific Ocean’s waves kissed the shores and the culinary scene thrived with innovation, a keto-friendly chef named Mia found herself inspired by the fresh catch of the day at the local fish market. Sashimi-grade tuna, with its deep red hue and delicate flavor, caught her eye and sparked an idea for a dish that would celebrate the simplicity and elegance of the ingredients while staying true to her keto principles.
Drawing upon her culinary expertise and her commitment to a lifestyle that emphasized health without sacrificing flavor, Mia set out to create Completely Keto Tuna Sliders. She envisioned a dish that would not only highlight the quality of the tuna but also incorporate the vibrant flavors of her coastal city.
Mia meticulously combined the tuna with dijon mustard, olive oil, and a carefully selected blend of spices, including paprika, black pepper, kosher salt, red pepper, and garlic powder. The addition of finely chopped scallions, minced garlic, coconut aminos, and fresh ground ginger infused the mixture with depth and brightness. She formed the tuna into sliders, searing them to perfection, locking in the flavors while ensuring a tender texture.
For assembly, Mia chose Fox Hill Kitchens Small Buns, a keto-friendly option that promised to hold the sliders together without compromising her dietary goals. She layered each bun with butter lettuce, spring greens, slices of ripe tomato, and thin avocado, creating a harmony of textures and flavors that complemented the tuna perfectly.
The mustard dressing, a zesty concoction of dijon mustard, lime juice, Primal Kitchen Mayo, cayenne pepper, water, and Pink Himalayan Salt, was the final touch, drizzled over the sliders to add a tangy kick that tied everything together.
Mia’s Completely Keto Tuna Sliders became an instant hit, a testament to her belief that keto cuisine could be both nourishing and gourmet. They were more than just a meal; they were a celebration of the bounty of the sea and the creativity of the keto lifestyle, shared with friends and patrons who gathered at her restaurant to enjoy the flavors of San Diego through a health-conscious lens.
