  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Season both sides of brisket with montreal steak seasoning.

  3. Cook the meat on high heat on both sides to form a crust.

  4. Layer in the onions to a baking pan. Add in all the garlic cloves and top with the thyme.

  5. Mix the cola, onion soup mix, BBQ sauce, paprika, salt and pepper in a bowl.

  6. Put the brisket in to the pan and pour the sauce over. Cover with silver foil.

  7. Put in the oven for 2 and a half hours.

  8. Best served as soon as possible, or if you reheat it make sure to slice before.
