Harlan’s Keto Sloppy Joes

Make sure to choose a meat with a good fat content. If you use a lean ground beef, it will come out dry.

1 cup sugar free ketchup or my barbecue sauce

1 tbs lakanto sweetener

1 tbs apple cider vinegar

Mix together ingredients and set aside.

2 tbs of coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil

1 small onion finely chopped

Brown onion in coconut oil.

Add 2 pounds of ground beef

Add the following and stir.

1 tablespoon of  ground white horseradish (no sugar  no soy)

2 tbs kosher salt

1/4 tspn of freshly ground black pepper

1 tspn of dry mustard

Add the sauce and stir well.

Simmer until done.

Serve over Fox Hill Buns.


Harlan’s Keto Cole Slaw

1 shredded carrot (not more)

1 grated onion

1 medium shredded cabbage

1 shredded green pepper

1 shredded red pepper

2 tablespoons pink Himalayan salt

1 tablespoon swerve or xylitol

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon deli mustard

3/4 cup of Chipotle Lime Mayo

Mix together.

Chill and serve
