Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 cup crushed almonds
  • 1/2 tsp ginger ground
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 eggs

Sauce

  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 Tbsp Nature's Hollow Sugar Free Honey Substitute
  • 1 Tbsp xanthan gum
  • 2 Tbsp Wheat Free Tamari Sauce
  • 4 oz Harlan's Asian Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 oz rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp ginger

Instructions

  1. Set oven to 400 degrees and prep a greased baking sheet.

  2. Mix all the meatball ingredients in a big bowl and form into balls as big as you would like. Place them all on the baking sheet.

  3. Bake for around 10 minutes or until the balls are not pink anymore on the inside.

Sauce

  1. Dissolve the xanthan gum in 1/2 a cup of water.

  2. Mix all the sauce ingredients in a saucepan, except the xanthan gum mixture, on medium flame. Whisk until fully combined. Pour in the xanthan gum mixture and keep cooking until fully thickened sauce.

  3. Put meatballs on a serving platter and pour the sauce over.
