Ingredients

  • 6 large onions diced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp xanthan gum mixed with 3 tsp of water
  • 10 cups water
  • 2 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp Swerve
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 Tbsps onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the onions in the butter for about 20 minutes or they start to turn a golden brown.

  2. Mix the teaspoons of xanthan gum and water in a bowl and add to the onions.

  3. Add all the rest of the ingredients including the cups of water together and mix well.

  4. Let the soup reach a boil, then lower it and cook for 2 hours.
