Ingredients

  • 6 single skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 4 jalapeno peppers seeds removed, sliced thinly
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and prepare greased baking pan that's 9x13.

  2. Arrange the chicken onto the baking pan and make 3-5 slits in each chicken using a serrated knife.

  3. Stuff about one slice of bacon into each slit, with a thin slice of jalapeno and as much mozzarella cheese as you can fit in.

  4. Mix the garlic, black pepper and basil in a bowl and sprinlkle evenly over the chicken.

  5. Push the chicken tightly together to hold the stuffing in place.

  6. Bake uncovered for 35 minutes.
