Completely Keto Cauliflower Au Gratin

As the autumn breeze rustled through the trees, Sarah found herself craving a comforting dish that would warm her soul on chilly evenings. Inspired by the abundance of cauliflower in her garden, she decided to create a cozy and indulgent Cauliflower Au Gratin—a keto-friendly twist on a classic comfort food.

In her quaint kitchen, Sarah began by slicing the cauliflower into thick, hearty slices, each one ready to soak up the rich flavors of the dish. Meanwhile, she sautéed chopped onions in butter until they were golden and caramelized, filling the kitchen with their irresistible aroma.

To add a satisfying crunch and nutty flavor, Sarah mixed ground walnuts with melted butter, creating a deliciously crunchy topping for the gratin. This unconventional twist would add an extra layer of texture and depth to the dish, elevating it to new heights of culinary delight.

As she layered the cauliflower slices in a baking dish, Sarah envisioned the creamy, cheesy goodness that would soon envelop each tender floret. She poured a velvety mixture of mayonnaise, Pink Himalayan Salt, and vegetable or chicken stock over the cauliflower, ensuring that every bite would be rich and flavorful.

Finally, Sarah sprinkled generous handfuls of shredded mozzarella cheese over the top, allowing it to melt and bubble in the oven until golden and bubbly. A dash of black pepper and garlic powder added a final touch of seasoning, enhancing the dish’s savory goodness.

As Sarah pulled the Cauliflower Au Gratin from the oven, its tantalizing aroma filled the kitchen, beckoning her family to the table. Paired with a crisp green salad or served alongside roasted chicken or beef, this comforting dish was the perfect way to warm their hearts and bellies on cool autumn nights.
