Harlan Kilstein's Completely Keto Chicken Stuffed with Cheese, Bacon and Jalapeños
- 6 single skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 1 lb bacon
- 2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 4 jalapeno peppers seeds removed, sliced thinly
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and prepare greased baking pan that's 9x13.
Arrange the chicken onto the baking pan and make 3-5 slits in each chicken using a serrated knife.
Stuff about one slice of bacon into each slit, with a thin slice of jalapeno and as much mozzarella cheese as you can fit in.
Mix the garlic, black pepper and basil in a bowl and sprinlkle evenly over the chicken.
Push the chicken tightly together to hold the stuffing in place.
Bake uncovered for 35 minutes.
